Teletherapy sessions allow clients to receive quality mental health care from the comfort and convenience of their own home. I utilize a secure and easy-to-use platform to provide clients with a safe and confidential space to discuss their concerns and work towards their goals.
I offer individual therapy sessions to help clients with ADHD and/or FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder) build on personal strengths/interests, manage sensory needs, and address co-occurring mental health concerns including anxiety, mood-related issues, posttraumatic stress, difficulties in emotion regulation, anger management, substance use concerns, and disordered eating.
I use an approach that is tailored to individual needs and supported by research. Depending on my client's presenting concerns and their personal preferences, I may use strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy (adapted for neurodivergent folks), dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and/or mindfulness.
