I am currently accepting new assessment and treatment clients for bookings in May and June, 2026.
I am currently offering appointments on Mondays and Thursdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
I accept credit card and e-transfers for payment. Many clients prefer to use credit card payments as they can be easily managed within my booking system, reducing the need to remember to send payment. Alternatively, I also accept e-transfer for assessments; payments can be made prior to our virtual appointments.
Please reach out to me at info@drsarahfarstad.com to request an assessment or psychological treatment. I will answer any questions you have about the process and then I can send you information about how to complete the consent forms, intake forms, and/or questionnaires.
You do not require a referral from your doctor or mental health professional. You can contact me directly to request an assessment or psychological treatment.
I require at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. This cancellation policy allows me to schedule clients waiting for appointments. If I am able to fill your spot with another client, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. I understand that unexpected emergencies can occur, and I will review these situations on a case by case basis.
I do not have an ongoing waitlist, but I update my website regularly to advise when I am accepting new bookings. If you would like to schedule an appointment, feel free to reach out and we can pre-schedule a treatment session or assessment session during that time period. While waiting for your scheduled appointment, I can send you some intake paperwork to complete (e.g., consent forms, intake forms/questionnaires).
Psychologists are not covered by the provincial Medical Services Plan. Many extended health benefit plans will reimburse you for part or all of the services. Please check with your insurance carrier directly for details on their coverage for sessions with a Registered Psychologist. If you have extended health coverage, you can submit your receipts to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I do not bill insurance companies directly.
