Assessment Fees
Flat-rate fee for a comprehensive assessment, with a written report
The flat-rate fee for a comprehensive assessment of mental health or ADHD is $1800, which includes all of the elements described on my assessment page (i.e., review of online questionnaires and collateral information, clinical interview, feedback session, written report with recommendations). This fee covers approximately 8 hours of work at the rate of $225 per hour.
Hourly rate for an assessment, without a written report
Sometimes people are seeking an assessment because they want to learn about their mental health and they do not require a written report to confirm their diagnosis. In these situations, I can provide the assessment at an hourly rate of $245 per hour, which is consistent with the BC Psychological Association's recommended rate for psychology services. I will provide a detailed outline of the hours spent on the assessment for your records.
With this type of assessment, I will provide a one-page letter confirming that you attended an assessment with myself and if relevant, whether you met diagnostic criteria for a mental health condition. I will also provide a written list of personalized recommendations for services and supports relevant to your needs.
*A letter confirming your diagnosis may not be sufficient if you are hoping to access certain types of services or supports.
