I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and neurodiversity-affirming approach that is tailored to each client's unique needs. I believe that neurodiversity reflects the natural variation in how people think, learn, communicate, and experience the world—not a collection of deficits to be corrected or "fixed." The challenges associated with neurodevelopmental differences often arise from the interaction between an individual's unique way of processing the world and the expectations and demands of their environment.
My goal is to help clients better understand how their brains work so they can build on their strengths, make sense of lifelong patterns, and develop strategies that support their well-being. While many adults seek an assessment because they are experiencing difficulties at work, in relationships, or in everyday life, the assessment process is also an opportunity to recognize personal strengths, interests, and ways of thinking that may have been overlooked. This understanding can reduce self-criticism, provide a framework for identifying meaningful accommodations and supports, and help clients move forward with greater confidence, self-awareness, and quality of life.
I use evidence-based assessment practices, meaning my evaluations are guided by the best available scientific research as well as current clinical guidelines. Every assessment is comprehensive and individualized, recognizing that no single test or questionnaire can fully capture a person's experiences.

I use evidence-based assessment practices, meaning my evaluations are guided by the best available scientific research as well as current clinical guidelines. Every assessment is comprehensive and individualized, recognizing that no single test or questionnaire can fully capture a person's experiences.
My assessments integrate information from multiple sources, including a detailed clinical interview, standardized questionnaires, and, when appropriate and with your consent, input from people who know you well. I may also review relevant records, such as school records, medical records, or previous assessments, to develop a thorough understanding of your history and current experiences.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and am a member of the British Columbia Psychological Association (BCPA), the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance (CADDRA), and the Canada FASD Research Network (CanFASD). I have completed continuing education in the assessment of ADHD, autism, FASD, and other types of neurodevelopmental differences. My training has placed particular emphasis on identifying ADHD and autism in adults and in women, whose experiences may be less well recognized because they often differ from traditional diagnostic presentations. This knowledge allows me to provide assessments that are informed by current research and responsive to the diverse ways neurodevelopmental differences can present across the lifespan.

I provide services through a trauma-informed lens. This means recognizing that many people seeking psychological services have experienced trauma, including trauma within healthcare, mental health, or other systems. These experiences can shape how people engage with assessments and other services.
I strive to approach every client with sensitivity, respect, and compassion. Creating a sense of emotional safety is an important part of my practice. I work collaboratively with clients, valuing their lived experiences and recognizing them as experts on their own lives. Together, we identify your goals, discuss options openly, and ensure you have the information you need to make informed decisions throughout the assessment process.
My aim is to provide an experience that feels supportive, respectful, and empowering. I hope clients leave with a deeper understanding of themselves, practical recommendations that fit their lives, and resources that help them move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
