I'm a licensed psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia. I completed my Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Psychology and Criminology at Simon Fraser University and earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calgary. My doctoral training combined clinical practice with research, and I have published in peer-reviewed journals, co-authored a book chapter, and presented my research at national and international conferences.
I have more than 10 years of experience providing psychological assessment and treatment services in diverse settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient mental health services, forensic programs, correctional centres, and private practice. I have completed specialized psychological assessments, including comprehensive neurodevelopmental and mental health assessments, and court-ordered presentence assessments. I have also provided therapy for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences and mental health needs.
Over the past five years, my work has become increasingly focused on comprehensive assessments for neurodevelopmental differences, including ADHD, autism, and FASD. I provide evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming assessments that help clients better understand how their brains work, recognize their strengths, and identify supports and strategies that improve everyday life.
As a late-diagnosed AuDHD psychologist, I also bring lived experience to my work. While my clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based assessment and current research, my own experiences have deepened my understanding of what it can be like to navigate a world that is often designed around neurotypical expectations. I know how meaningful it can be to have your experiences understood with curiosity and respect, and without judgment.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog and diving into my special interests. Some of my favourites include dyeing my hair bright colours, learning about animals, watching horror and Marvel movies, and travelling to see wildlife in its natural habitat.
